I think folks should still visit Chicago, just profile accordingly.

"There are inquiries that are coming in from meeting planners that are saying, 'Hey, I'm reading about what's taken place in your city. Is your city safe?'" Welsh said. His organization received five to six such calls in the last few weeks, at this point seeking information not cancellations, he said at the meeting.
Well the NYT had an article about crime starting to happen in the wealthier parts of Chicago.
And it was in the Sunday NYTimes no less, read by a much wider audience and online as well.

Has the "ethnic cleansing" that supposedly is being done by hispanic gangs (last heard about it being done in LA), being waged in Chicago now?
The rise in killing and the rate of crime seems to have stepped up. Is this because hispanics are in Chicago attempting to move blacks out?
It seems to me that blacks in the inner cities, by shunning high educational achievement, not striving for all that is high and noble, not only have to cope with their lessened positions in life, but also the ignorant, criminally-minded segment of the hispanic population who target them in order to gain "control." It's like two factions trying to fight for second-to-last.
Seriously? I LOVE Chicago: Art Museum, Old Town, Taste of Chicago, concerts, boat shows, ethnic festivals, Cubs game, Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, etc.
