Now the neocons have a private army. I wonder how long it will take for them to be brought back here to "provide protection" for "important people" and be able to operate outside our LAW. Not too long methinks

Per the Congressional Research Service 7/11/2007 report titled “Private Security Contractors in Iraq; Background, Legal Status, and other issues”.
Iraqi courts do not have jurisdiction to prosecute contractors without the permission of the relevant member country of the Multi-National Forces in Iraq. It is possible that some contractors may remain outside the jurisdiction of U.S. courts, civil or military, for improper conduct in Iraq.”
So how can they be tried by an Iraqi court if the US will not allow them to be tried? Can you answer that? Why don’t you push for some legislation that says the Iraqi government should have jurisdiction and they do not need any permission from the relevant member country? Or do you prefer to let them get away with anything because after all it is only a dead Iraqi and Iraqi deaths are irrelevant?

Oh yes, the Left Wing Extremist Democrats who prefer accountability. That’s right, all the Right Wing’s loathe accountability. They dance on the graves of dead Iraqis and don’t want any investigations or accountability for innocent deaths.

The "important people" already have protection.

DISGRACEFUL.
You cannot protect someone without accountability. If so, you can murder every single person en route to your destination which it seems Blackwater and these other mercenary groups have been given legal license to do.

Nirvana-Guy, again, your "Christian Conservative" label is utterly undermined by your opinions. You appear to value American lives over all others and attribute no value whatsoever to innocent Iraqis. To you, they are all enemies. Very sad. Perhaps as sad as the fact that the US government has to provide private armies to protect itself. Of course, this is the new trend. You can't have your army turn against you, you have to pay for a private one to keep your crimes hidden from scrutiny.
