I did not say he was arrested. I said he is being "interviewed". And do note, that there have been some out there, particularly on the Left, who have said he basically should be charged and blamed.

He is a criminal who is on probation, and is not even supposed to be using a computer or Internet without permission from the probation officers, and the officers have every right to question people who violate the probation rules.
AND they used the "movie" as a cover, an excuse, for the protests. That still gives the "filmmaker" some responsibility. Also, there were attacks around the world yesterday and the reason cited for those attacks was that "movie." No way this guy does not share resposibility for the eruption of violence one way or another.
Then appease the Muslims. Find the guy and send him to Egypt and let them deal with it.
That will appease them and they'll like us again and won't attack.

YES, this man is different because his "movie" is getting worldwide attention and is being cited as the reason for the violence and death of Americans in Libya. The guy should have just hung a neon sign around his neck saying, "here I am."
It would be absolutely negligent of the federal parole officer/officers to just "ignore" this incident because a CONDITION of his parole was that he not use the internet for 5 years. Do you expect our federal employees to just IGNORE an in-your-face situation where there is certainly a question as to whether or not a parolee violated his/her parole?
It may be that this guy did not violate that condition regarding use of the internet. Maybe someone else posted it on YouTube. However, the matter still must be looking into. This is after all a VERY HIGH PROFILE matter.
Wow, I didnt realize all of those people were rioting in order to demand an investigation in regards to someone who MIGHT have violated conditions of their parole over use of the internet.

This question of probation violation is so IN-YOUR-FACE, if the probation officers or the feds had ignored it they should have been fired, and they probably would have been if it came out later that this guy had violated parole and they had done absolutely nothing about it, didn't even question him. Probation violations are pretty common, and the courts usually that it pretty seriously. This questioning/investigation gets the fed employees off the hook, so to speak.
Agreed. The do have the duty to investigate if something is amiss and it is brought to their attention.

Violating parole..ok, we got it. The Muslims are demanding justice. You think they will settle for violating parole ? They want him beheaded.
And they don't have to interview him to know who posted that you tube video.
They have IPs they can trace back.
YES, they do have to interview him. It's part of their job. He gets the opportunity to explain what really happened. Could be a friend of his posted the YouTube. Questioning him gives him the opportunity to deny that he had any part of it. Actually, though, you make a good point re just violating parole....of course the Muslims would not be satisfied with just a parole violation, so WHY would we bother questioning him if the desire on the part of our government was to make the Muslims "happy"? They wouldn't.
Seems to me that the "Muslims" could easily find this guy and behead him at some point in the future. He can't hide forever; however, being in federal prison might just give him a longer lifetime.
Some people are in agreement with this film...which is really dumb- because no one knows the truth here...so speculations should not be made...all you get is trouble...and that is what we got- Even though the continued Arab protests may in reality have little to do with the film- and Islamofascist ...just needed an excuse and this jerk gave it to them.

The only thing known was that he made a movie, PERIOD.. Not one thing you listed even hinted at him violating his probation.
I believe he is referring to your comment that the OP said the filmmaker had been "arrested."
