What the Tax Cuts Cost | Cost of Tax Cuts

Where's the jobs from job creators, recipients of the tax cuts? Just corporate welfare?
They never think about the Gulf War 1990 George H.W. Bush was in office then, the money spent and go forward to other wars we ended up into.

Well yeah, all of this stuff costs money,
if you spend more than you take in, you end up with a deficit, which is a difficult point to convey to some people. and then give tax cuts on top of it all? people just don't understand.

Here's the thing:

I'm definitely left-leaning but I, too, am extremely disappointed in President Obama. I think he did many things wrong and could have done a lot more in his first term in a myriad of things, etc. etc.

However, when I look over at the other side, quite frankly, I'm scared sh*tless!

So, yes, even though I'm far from being a big Obama fan, I will definitely NOT be voting for the Republicans. The Republicans are so extremist and so far right that it's just gotten to the point where it is just beyond ridiculous and, again, scary. They are now basically a party for the uber rich, the ultra-religious wackos, and the completely ignorant (who they get to vote against their own self-interests). So, no thank you, never.

And they see what Bush and the obstructionist Republicans have done as their involvement in the issue. Not sure what you expect. You right wingers apparently think Obama should have god like powers to magically fix all the problems in the world.

The Presidency is bigger than one man, and isn't the most powerful branch of the government. The President needs a competent group willing to work with him in order to make change happen. How's that going to work when Congress is corrupt and inept?

Not nearly enough to give the election to Romney.
Don't count on it.

I predict virtually none. Even if the left wing of the party is upset about Obama being so centrist in everything they're still not going to vote for Romney.

You'll get over this bad news for righties, it's just a matter of time.

That's all you have ?????? After four years he has signed a bill "to clarify that a discriminatory compensation decision or other practice that is unlawful under such Acts occurs each time compensation is paid pursuant to the discriminatory compensation decision or other practice, and for other purposes."

Wow! A bill to clarify..... after four years!!!!!!!! And that's "bad news for righties"? And it's not even in the social realm..... it's just more big government defining how business must operate.

So just to be clear, he's made NO progress on social issues that impact the freedom of Americans. NO progress on drugs. NO progress on gambling. NO progress on prostitution. NO progress on freedom to eat and drink what we as adults choose. NO progress to help Americans run their businesses as they choose.

So yes, he has been a TOTAL FAILURE as a social liberal.

Well, it is like a parent whose kid is not doing as well in school as hoped sending their kid to the Jeffrey Dahmer Academy.

There is a big difference between mildly disappointing and terrifying.

That's exactly the way I feel. He may have said a lot of things to get the socialist vote, but he's governing more like a Clinton Democrat... Which worked better than Reagan/Bush-onomics, which is what Romney/Ryan want to "take this country back" to...

Therefore, when the viable candidates are an even-tempered, centrist Democrat (who wasn't born wealthy, BTW), or an incompetent, insensitive, right-wing Republican who (along with his wife) can't seem to open his mouth without being insulting or condescending, it's not a difficult choice.

Dissatisfied with Obama, but nowhere near enough to cast a vote for an extreme rightwing candidate and his Veep.
