And this is why NYC should pay at least 25%. That would at least control their wish list and spending.

Again, 90% and 100% to apply only to emergency repairs, not including a sea wall.

I hope I never get to be so poor that all I think about is my pocketbook.

America should only make this situation whole if it is still America. Otherwise, we need to change the name to AynRandia or something.

What about contemporary culture leads you to believe that the government isn't?

Those are all uncivilized; therefore, the quoted sentence does not make sense.

No! Please don't take away my right to pay Social Security and Medicare. Please don't take away my right to hyper-subsidize the military industrial complex and any business with connections. Please don't take away my right to be forced to participate in socialized health care. Please don't take away my rights to help imprison more people than China or Russia and to execute innocent Americans. Oh, please, please, please give me my rights!

I love my rights.

see, when the banks need money, they get it for free, since they are the entities
who actually loan the new money to the government, as they are connected to
the Federal Reserve banks.. it's a wheel of control. Banks who are part of the
Federal Reserve System create the paper currency, loan it to the Federal
Government at interest, but loan it to themselves at no interest.

When a State needs to borrow, they pay 4% interest, plus fees, for
critical things, so the banks make out no matter what.
