Now was this joker so sure that Romney was going to repeal this? Romney himself said he wouldn't repeal the whole act. He'd keep the good, get rid of the bad. He didn't say what that was. AND HE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IT BY HIMSELF; IT WOULD HAVE TO PASS BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS! It was an empty campaign promise, and he knew it. Anyone who believed that Romney could wave a magic wand and get rid of the ACA has no business running a business!

Obama did this after the 2008 election, extended his hand to McCain, of course it was just a show just like it is now. We got what Americans voted for and will suffer the consequences.

180 million voters...60 million got Obama reelected..that's 30% of registered voters.
60 million is 19% of all Americans.
A bit disingenuous to say 19% of Americans put Obama back into office. Popular vote was 51% towards Obama, and considering the storm which crushed several New England States, it may have been higher. But with some 120 million voters having cast their ballots, it's safe to say that 51% of the remaining 60 million registered voters would have voted for Obama--that's how statistics work.
And to include everyone in the United States in your 19% number? You have the intellectual integrity of Jerry Falwell.

This is related to the healthcare reform law but not to the employer requirement to provide health insurance.
Part of the ACA package involves a special tax of 2.3 % on revenues of medical device manufacturers. I am all for health care reform and bascially agree with Obamacare but this one aspect is something I think was very foolish. For one thing, taxing revnues as opposed to profits is insane. For another, it hits small startups just starting to see returns on investment to develop innovative products the same as it does the larger mature companies that are so cash rich that they go hunting for small companies to buy up (in some cases taking new technologies that compete with their own and locking them in a dark closet).
Not to mention those medical devices will now cost more to the consumer. So, who's really paying the tax?
