Not only that; the EPA was established by a Republican.

Food prices are going up because of drought, not the EPA.

It's the cost of going green and we're going to get there kicking and screaming.

Just remember, corn makes our gas prices cheaper so imagine how high they would be if there was no corn in the gas.

40% of all corn grown in the U.S. is burned as fuel for vehicles. A gallon of gas contains 10% ethanol and most vehicles get less mpg but the EPA now wants 15% which means even less mpg and more corn diverted to make ethanol.

Oh, another "can't wait till the old racists die out" idea. Sorry, but there are plenty of people like me who are way younger than that and have different views from yours. And guess what. We think for ourselves.

In fact, I know a 60-year-old couple who just married and omg, she's white and he's black!! They must not have been indoctrinated to be racists yet. Maybe they'll discover when they're 80 that they should have been racists all along and then get divorced.

As an independent, I do know that once comprehensive immigration reform is passed, a huge percentage of hispanics are going to be in line with the republican conservative values. Because they place high value on the family unit, don't run away from their personal responsibilities to care for their kids, and the fact that many of them are very religious oriented, there will eventually be a shift in this country towards more conservative values.

Things change. They always do.
