This is talking about ONE hospital out of thousands an thousands of Catholic hospitals all over the world and yes if they are trying to protect themselves saying that they should lose the name Catholic from their title. This is no surprise, many colleges that call themselves Catholic are far from being that. The church needs to expel them and crack down on them.
Anti choicer eh? Well I don't mind being called that when the choice is murder or birth....oh and if you had read it correctly,the LAWYERS for the hospital claimed this not the hospital its self.Nice try though.
Um, lawyers represent the hospital. They express and defend the positions of the hospital.
The next thing you know the Catholic Church will argue that prepubescent children aren't people either and therefore it's legal to have sex with them as well as shelter those who do.
Any organization that's been around as long as the catholic church, and has made as few reforms as the catholic church has over the centuries, can only be viewed as barbaric and dysfunctional in my eyes.
If there is one organization in the world I wish was picked clean of all of its resources, it's the abomination that is the catholic church. I weep for every dollar they collect from charitable donations.
