This usually ends with lowering the standards for everybody to achieve the desired results.

fire the principle, get rid of the program, save the taxpayers some money, and start over with a new principle and program.

Yeah he said it was a 'misunderstanding', but who writes a memo that says the program is open to all students of color? Imagine the outrage if the memo said it was closed to all students of color.

What does this have to do with my comment, which you quoted? The OP is being duped and/or misleading us, since this "principle" (principal, LOL) never banned white kids from the tutoring program.

The type of person who's been misunderstood and accused of NOT welcoming all students? Duh.

I imagine it would be = the reaction of the OP, when he thought it was closed to students of his color. Discrimination feels pretty bad, doesn't it? (hint hint, Old Army Soldier)

Nope. I had the CBS4 original headline to the story to begin with. It stated:

'Parents Complain About School Ad Excluding Whites From Tutoring Program'

CBS4 must have changed the headline since I made the OP.

How would getting rid of a volunteer, parent-run program save taxpayer money?
