Nope. I had the CBS4 original headline to the story to begin with. It stated:
'Parents Complain About School Ad Excluding Whites From Tutoring Program'
CBS4 must have changed the headline since I made the OP.
Huh? Your thread title says that the principal has banned all white students from after school tutoring, and your post claims he wants to segregate white students. That's false and outrageous.
I imagine it would be = the reaction of the OP, when he thought it was closed to students of his color. Discrimination feels pretty bad, doesn't it? (hint hint, Old Army Soldier)
I was hoping that this would give the parents of the excluded students a opportunity to start a whites only tutoring program, only to see the non whites cry racism after the whites tutoring program yielded higher grades than them.

Oh Really!!!
Here is the original CBS4 article. I saved it:
Parents Complain About School Ad Excluding Whites From Tutoring
February 13, 2013
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A school principal said no white children were allowed at an after-school tutoring program, and now some parents call it discrimination.
The principal at Mission Viejo Elementary in Aurora sent a letter telling parents the program is only for students of color. Parents CBS4 talked with said they were shocked to see, in this day and age, what they consider to be segregation.
“I was infuriated. I didn’t understand why they would include or exclude certain groups,” said parent Nicole Cox, who is white. [...]
Yeah he said it was a 'misunderstanding', but who writes a memo that says the program is open to all students of color? Imagine the outrage if the memo said it was closed to all students of color.
It seems that the volunteer parent coordinator of the parent-run tutoring program wrote the sign-up sheet. Although the buck certainly stops with the principal - he's the one responsible for sending it out. He's also the one who apologized for incorrect information being sent out and corrected it.
There is a difference in working on closing the achivement gap and closing the gap. If you never work to close the achievement gap, the second will also never happen.
The white kids probably don't need the tutoring. Either way this is the typical response from liberals and even neo cons. Faux outrage over some "racism" towards nonwhites but they try and explain it away when it happens to whites.

You keep referencing the initial, knee-jerk "reporting" before they'd even gotten the principal's and school's side (have you not seen today's follow up story? I posted it very early in this thread). And even in your initial article there is a report of a voice message where the principal states this tutoring program is not in fact limited to non-white students.
Your trying to categorize this as a black principal segregating white kids and banning them from after school tutoring is outrageous. First off, the program is in fact open to all races. Secondly, it's not even an official school group - it's a parent organized and run tutoring program. Quite frankly, if a group of minority parents want to have a group that tutors underachieving colored students- even to the exclusion of white students - I say good for them.

You would be going against 'Equal Rights' for all.
What do parent tutoring groups have to do with "rights"?
And does this deflection mean you're backing off your characterization of this principal as some sort white-hating and white student segregating, uppity black man?

Reason: changed principle to principal
Considering the demographics of Aurora Colorado if the have a tutoring programs solely for minority children they wouldn't have enough students to fill the janitor's closet.
Either way a public school program that discriminates based upon race, or ethnicity is blatantly illegal.
