Although polls vary somewhat in their findings, the general trend is that fewer households in the U.S. own guns. That means if gun sales have increased, and I have no data that they have, it means fewer households are buying more guns.

"That decline, which has been studied by researchers for years but is relatively unknown among the general public, suggests that even as the conversation on guns remains contentious, a broad shift away from gun ownership is under way in a growing number of American homes."

Guns are already some of the most heavily regulated items in this country, don't even act like firearms are unregulated.

Just look at the link posted a few posts up, there are quite a few pieces legislation that in fact does propose taking away the rights to own a gun. There are quite a few places, states and cities in this country that have taken away a person's right to own a firearm.

sorry, but given the statements made by obama, pelosi, feinstein, and others in the past, I can't believe that you actually believe the statement you just made!
Nobody could possibly be that blind!
NO, I am not going to give you links to the videos. YOU can find them if you want.
Of course, you won't believe them anyway, they must have been edited or doctored somehow, your HEROES could NEVER have said anything like that!

Do you have links to that? Because there have been about 99 pieces of legislation passed over the last few years that have loosened gun controls in various states.

That's odd, Gallup says otherwise along with a ton of other polls.

You can't legally purchase a machine gun. Does that personally affect you. Does this not allow you to purchase other guns.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but this is just from one gun shop in New Jersey.

Driving these record numbers are thousands of first-time purchasers.
While absolute data on the number of new gun owners is hard determine — under New Jersey law the police are prohibited from releasing specific information pertaining to firearms purchases and permit requests — local gun dealers are observing the trend toward increased ownership in their own shops.
"We are getting a lot of new customers who are interested in learning about the permitting process," said Jocelyn Phillips, who along with her husband, Mark, owns Ace Marksman, Hunting and Sporting Goods Shop in Mannington Township. "Many times they come back after getting their permits and make a purchase."

Many of these new customers are women and older people, Phillips said.

Self-Reported Gun Ownership in U.S. Is Highest Since 1993

All of the numbers show a rise in gun ownership per household except for the GSS which receives funding from anti-gun groups... hmmm, I wonder.
