A study published in the Injury Prevention Journal, based on a 2004 National Firearms Survey, found that 20% of the gun owners with the most firearms possessed about 65% of the nation's guns. This could account for the rise in the number of gun checks---a concentration of gun owners who buy multiple guns.

You can legally purchase a machine gun. The burden required of gun owners is far beyond that of any enumerated right, let alone any other 3 pound piece of metal.

A 9 year old report, Obama wasn't president in 04 so that doesn't really apply.

All of the numbers show a rise in gun ownership per household except for the GSS which receives funding from anti-gun groups... hmmm, I wonder.

RE: The studies shown.
Just exactly WHERE were these studies done?
East coast?
West coast?
Or "Middle America", away from large population centers?
You should realize that such studies can be slanted to go the way the organization paying for it desires, just by being careful who you poll? You don't REALLY think the the Brady Bunch or the NRA or the GOA are going to pay for or participate in a study that doesn't prove what they want it to, do you?
Even a raging liberal demoncrap couldn't be THAT dense!
On second thought....

Harvard researcher David Hemenway addressed this question:

"The federal government doesn't have good data on anything on guns and that's been done on purpose," said David Hemenway, director of the Harvard Injury Control Research Center and senior author of the Injury Prevention Journal study. "The gun lobby has lots of power ... [their] goal is not to have any sort of registration system."

"We asked, 'Where'd the guns go?' The answer -- it looked like the people that had lots of guns were buying more guns," Hemenway said."

NO, I am not going to give you links to the videos. YOU can find them if you want.
Of course, you won't believe them anyway, they must have been edited or doctored somehow, your HEROES could NEVER have said anything like that!

Your paranoid has set in fueled by conservative talk no doubt. And my heroes are definitely not politicians....that would be my parents
