What needs to be done is to make a list of the polititions that have supported gun control, and note them perminantly . keep track of their record and call them on it in the future .
They must know that their stand is not being forgotten by any one .
Back pedaling is a sure sign of hypocracy and the failure to represent the people .

You know that. All you need in a situation like that is for gun freaks to be shooting what they thought were looters, who are really other citizens or even worse, police or emergency personnel. And if there's one thing gun owners are, it's paranoid.
That's a great load of BS you have there but the fact of the matter is that no legal gun owner was ever accused or suspected of shooting at first responders or emergency personnel.
People own self defense firearms to protect themselves, their families and their homes and at the time when they needed them the most (after many of the NOPD police officers hauled ass) the had their guns confiscated by force for no reason other than gov. thuggery.
