What needs to be done is to make a list of the polititions that have supported gun control, and note them perminantly . keep track of their record and call them on it in the future .
They must know that their stand is not being forgotten by any one .
Back pedaling is a sure sign of hypocracy and the failure to represent the people .
They are there to represent us, not to controal us.

That's a great load of BS you have there but the fact of the matter is that no legal gun owner was ever accused or suspected of shooting at first responders or emergency personnel.

People own self defense firearms to protect themselves, their families and their homes and at the time when they needed them the most (after many of the NOPD police officers hauled ass) the had their guns confiscated by force for no reason other than gov. thuggery.

You should care because those people are just as much Americans as anyone else in any other state and the 2nd amendment isn't a state law.

So are you in favor of the Japanese internment camps of ww2? To protect the lives of American citizens against the potential spies in the Japanese American population.

What if we shut down a few polling places on election night in order to maintain civility in the parking lot and reduce the threat of violence against volunteers and poll workers.

Would that be ok ellemint?

You republicans have made an argument for about 20 years that gun control is devastating to Democrats. if this was about politics, then Democrats would stay miles away from it.

it wasnt just about Newton, It was about Aurora,Tuscon, Chicago and Oak Creek.

But i would like to know, what exactly do anti gun people have to gain other than the safety of the people in their communites ?

Democrats are trying to use this tragedy to push their anti-gun agenda, achieving that goal would in turn help them... unless of course you don't think that Democrats have an anti-gun agenda then I can't really help you because you're beyond help. Democrats saw a dangerous situation and sought a solution which wouldn't fix anything and would only eliminate the rights of legal gun owners in this country. Democrats don't care about protecting citizens of this nation, they care about votes and power.
Help them what ?????????

your argument seen to be just continuing to use the phrase "anti gun" but you are not saying anything Democrats actually gain.

People who are pro gun control already vote Democrat, they gain nothing but the safety and security of this nation

Control over other people and the ability to disarm the people in the country who pose the biggest threat to your agenda.
