Don't know what kind of community or culture you come from, but where I come from BEATING your child with an electrical cord FOR ANY REASON is child abuse. It's really very simple. If you BEAT someone with an electrical cord, you are going to leave welts, bruises, and/or cuts. THAT'S physical abuse.

What is so terrible about what he did, that it warranted being beat til he bled? What was the terrible harm he did to someone else that would justify punishment of any kind, let alone physical abuse?
