If the person turns out to be white, people like the ones who write and read Salon, will be the first to politicize and use it for their agenda, in any way they can. That article is despicable but expected from the types the write and read from sites like that. Pure garbage.
If, and I emphasize if, then there are a few logical implications. Either the suspect is an environmental extremist (not likely) or some brand of Tim McVeigh, Eric Rudolph which agenda or not would be in-line with concerns of the sort that read or write for Salon (as if it turns out to be some Muslim of one stripe or another it wouldn't fit the "agenda" of the right wing media).
Let's be clear, no news organization knows anything concrete at this moment. They're all just speculating just like on here because they've run out of other things to milk for ratings. They've interviewed everyone who's even remotely connected, I'm sure they'll get to the guy who painted the lane markings and crosswalks next to see what he/she thinks about who dun it.
What's really funny is all these talking heads yelling and "BREAKING NEWS" the FBI is not saying anything right now. Maybe they're BUSY?
All speical iontereswt groups use events to further their agenda. In this case they may have gone to the well once too often. More and mroe are realising after decades of gun laws that we have a violent people problem many of who have a clear record of being dangerous by threat or acts.

Went to the well too often just like they did with sequestration. You can't blame the democrats for doing over and over again what has worked for them in the past. The sheep must be waking up.
It sounds like hewas swinging at people like Republican Housespeaker Eric Cantor, who has repeatedly insisted on cuts to police funding and held disaster relief hostage.
They say that when you throw a rock into a dog kennel, the one who hollers is the one that got hit. I'd say that this is a good example of it. But hey, I'll have plenty of fun watching Republicans howling because Barney Frank hit them square between the eyes.

And yet, we already have folks like Rep. Louis Gohlmert rushing to somehow try to place the blame on Muslim jihadists from Mexico who are trained to act Hispanic.
They need to stop dragging their feet and they need to release the photos of these guys to the public. If you remember, the DC sniper wasn't caught until the press released a description of him and his vehicle. That was against the wishes of law enforcement. Get the public informed and involved, we're in this as much as they are.
In THAT case, I remember everyone up and down the 95 corridor looking for MONTHS for a white box truck with faded lettering on its side... and when they were finally caught, there was no vehicle matching that description associated with the snipers.
It's a tricky thing... taking time to verify info, yet wanting to act as quickly as possible.
