A natural extension of this is believing you are better than the rabble and deserve special treatment. It's ok, we are giving a handicapped person a job. They shouldn't pay taxes either -- they're job creators!
They're called limousine liberals and they simply have the same attitude as all other liberals. They're more equal than everyone else.

They aren't making their own rules. Their exploiting the rules that are in place for everyone. How do you identify them to stop them? They are with someone who is allowed, in accordance with the existing rules, to more to the front of the line via a special entrance, with as many as 6 friends or family members.

That must be a VERY recent change, as I was in DisneyWorld in November of 2012, and we noticed that there were many people in scooters & wheelchairs who were allowed to move to the front of lines. A friend & I even joked that it would be worth it to pay for the trip for someone who who used such a device, just to be allowed to skip all those lines with them.

Of course, we weren't serious & didn't act on it.

Same was true during the civil war here in America. For $300 you could buy a substitute.

The simple solution? If you are handicapped then you wait like everyone else.

Problem solved.
Sounds reminisent of those that want to place regulations on all gun owners to punsh those that committ crimes...

This is finally full circle. A person on Social Security, with a disability, has a JOB, and someone wants to take it away.

Are you going to hire that blind guy in a wheelchair? He is out there, making his disability work for him, and you want this income source taken away....

Wealthy Manhattanites were using their deep pockets to get their way. I'm utterly shocked! A lot of these folks seriously have no clue how normal people live and go about their business in life lol.

Didn't mariah Carry and her husband close down Disneyland recently to have their wedding anniversary in private.

No waiting in lines and having to rub elbows with the common folk.

Jasper,

I completely agree with you. While its, how shall we say, lives a sorta bad taste in my mouth, I still don't see an problem/issue with it. Money has always bought you special treatment and always will. Life isn't fair and never will be.

I have a co-worker who is a single mother. She has two children, age 10 and 8. Her brother is confined to a wheelchair. He has absolutely no physical motor skills and no brain waves at all. Is kept alive via liquid foods.

Her children have never waited in a line at Disneyland in their life. They have no clue what it is too wait. Her brother has no idea where he is, or what he is doing. Yet, she takes him with her to Disneyland, 3 or 4 times a year. Then several other co-workers go with her and bring their children (they take turns because supposedly there is a 6 person limit). They don't have to wait in lines of the rides either.

And if people think she is the only one's who do this, you are fooling yourself. People have been scamming this system for many years.

At least these people with money are paying someone else and probably leaving them a good tip at the end of the day too.

One more thing, all these people talking about equality. What do you tell your kids, when those rich kids are staying at a better resort then you are? How about the fact they have better clothes, a better house, eat at better restaurants, have all the toys, and get driven to the front of Disneyworld in a limo? What do say then? Its not fair?
