We did that in high school at Six Flags; one of my friends pretended to be blind and while Six Flags did not have 'fast passes' or an official program for jumping ahead in line for disabled people, seeing the pretend blind girl made crowds part like the Red Sea. We were usually able to jump almost to the front of the line.

Do I feel guilty about it now, as an adult? Yes. I tried to atone for it by giving money to an organization that assists the blind.

Just let the handicapped person cut the line and no one else.

If it's a blind person, throw a tennis ball at him and see if he reacts.

Lets think of it in terms of a handicapped boy or girl getting paid good cash for going to Disney.

So, if the person is blind and doesn't move then the ball will hit them? Lovely. I am blind and in a wheelchair and these types of statements are not funny because there is always some jack*** that will actually try this and laugh his fool head off.

Nice.

Sounds like a waste, since most rides at Disney have evolved their lines so that scooter and wheelchair people are no longer ushered up the front of the line.

I see a business opportunity here - Rent-A-Person.

Want to do some serious Black Friday shopping at the mall, but afraid you won't be able to find a parking spot? Our client service reps have their own handicapped placards! Pull on up to the front row, right between the blue lines. You deserve it. Well, not really, but you are paying by the hour for the privilege so enjoy!

That's what Americans do, take advantage for their own self gratification.

And we created this environment. We're the ones that put laws in place favoring one group over another.
And now you're mad because others are using it for their own self interests ?
No, they found a loop hole and used that to their advantage. That's what THESE type of people do and "I" did not work at all on creating this environment. No, I am not mad about it, but totally disgusted by it. Disney should be ashamed for allowing this to go on.

When I fly, I take a pair of crutches up to the gate so I can board early. What's the harm?
