Only morons called it a "show me your papers" law since the legislation specifically blocked anyone from racial profiling or anything even close to it. The law specifically prevented exactly what you're talking about but that sort of fact didn't work out for your agenda of pushing racism.

You're right but that doesn't stop the illegal alien defenders from claiming racial profiling anyway. They refuse to see the truth. What "papers" are they talking about anyway? (they are pulling the Nazi card on that one). No one has to prove they are a citizen of this country because legal immigants are allowed to be here also. One is only stopped during a traffic violation or the commission of some other crime (or the investigation of one) and all is required of them is a DL or state ID to identify themselves. There are no "papers". Only if when stopped (and not based on skin color or ethnicity as these idiots like to imply) during lawfull contact and they don't have those forms of ID can they be asked about their status in this country. These illegal alien defenders will never stop with their incessant lying though. They have no shame or conscience about it. Their ethnocentricism and ties to their ethnic group trumps everything......the truth, our laws, etc.
