Why bring up NAMBLA, think that backs you up, it does not. I have nothing to do with it, nor do I back it. Stop forcing our religion on others and making laws that enforce your beliefs on all people. It has been thought about for way more than a minute. Maybe you should try doing that too. It is predominantly heterosexuals that do the molesting, adult heterosexual men. Think about that and take more than a minute.

If you had a teen daughter, how would you feel about her going on weekend camping trips with a few other teen girls and an adult straight man? While there is no suggestion that the man would "molest" anyone, do you think that you, or most parents, would be comfortable with that?
It is the inspired word of God. It is Jesus. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word became flesh-Jesus- and dwelt among us.
If your Bible mentions homosexuality it is because a human decided to interject it because they had some agenda. Elsewise, it isn't in the Word and Jesus never touched the subject.
Now, if you want to battle things that Jesus did talk about, I suggest you start a thread about helping the poor and feeding the hungry and while you are at it, eat with the tax collectors, prostitutes and visit those in jail. There won't be much time to debate the things not in the Bible after that.

Jesus full well mentioned the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah and was a measure of the fury of God for committing sin. The wages of sin is death. The gift of Jesus Christ and to follow his commandments is eternal life.

So, as I said to another poster who used that reasoning on denying gay adult membership into the boyscouts. It is adult heterosexual men doing most of the molesting of boys and girls. Why ban just gay men from the boyscouts, it should then be all men if all men are suspect. Banning adult gay men perpetuates a lie that adult homosexual men molest boys, it is not true.
