If you wanted to kill someone and get away with it why not have an alibi? His call did not mean a hill of beans since he did not listen to their advice anyway.
Zimmerman instructed the police to call first, to give him time to place the evidence.
I don't consider racial people rational. People who thinks everything is about race. Two black people kill each other and nobody could care less. Its like their life is worth nothing. A non white person kills a black person and now all of a sudden its a terrible crime.
You are just absolutely wrong about this. Have you ever looked at court statistics? What percentage of young black males are incarcerated. When there is black on black killing and an arrest is made, they A CASE IS FILED AND THEY PROCEED TO TRIAL JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. The reason you think that's not true is because those kinds of cases are NOT highly publicized like others....don't see too many high profile cases regarding black on black murder, do you? The public may not care, ,but I assure you that the courts do care!
You do realize that the Martin Family requested that Rev Sharpton come down to Florida because the police dept was trying to cover it up it don't you? Now after it has come to light I doubt if they will be as involved as they were before, or rather you have the whole thing be buried and zim walk without being questioned or tried?
Which brings up the question, if G.Z. was so glaringly guilty as some have repeatedly stated on here then why would the police (who you're supposed to call and wait for them to take care of things like this) not have arrested him at the crime scene nor do anything else until the rabble raising started up? Remember, we're supposed to let them handle it right? Well, they did (albeit a bit late) and made their decision based on what they found.
I'd even add to this by saying that if T.M was a 25+ year old this whole conversation/trial wouldn't be happening and G.Z. would just be another name.

Why would the police not have arrested him? Well, the investigating detective suggested that GZ should be arrested. And why was there no investigation into possible drug use or alcohol use by Zimmerman?
For your typical reasons - Martin was just a dead black kid, and his life meant nothing. Don't believe me? Read the thousands of comments corroborating this by "people" on this very thread.

Do you know Zimmerman wasn't tested for drugs or alcohol? Martin was and came up positive for THC.

He wasn't tested. It's too bad SPD never even asked him to take a drug test beause the sap would have said ok and this criticism of the cops wouldn't be an issue.

I was talking about the public....
