She personally, told the heckler to stop, or come take the mic.

It is rude and disrespectful to yell over someone giving a speech. The issue was handled well.
Michelle: "listen to me or you can take the mic, but I'm leaving. You all decide. You have one choice."
She aced like a petulant 2-year-old and used the mob to do her dirty work.
When any group or person, regardless of their agenda does something like this, they do nothing but damage their cause...Demanding the administration or the first Lady do anything will accomplish nothing. I am sorry "in you face" radicals can't realize this. As for Michelle, I do think there might have been a better way to handle the situation. But heck, I don't know how I would have responded either. I don't think I would threaten to walk off, that is giving the protester their way.

Who were the "mob" there to hear speak? This was a fundraiser, people PAY to go to fundraisers. If you PAID to go see someone speak, would you want someone else to yell during their speech?
I PAID to go to a concert recently, I would have been outraged if someone pulled out a guitar and an amp, and played over the musician I PAID to see.
I don't have strong feelings on this one way or the other, but I find the response from the libs on this thread hilarious.
If she had heckled a Rep., we would be hearing that:
1. the Rep. was a bigot who deserved it
2. Rep. was a big bully about to beat the protestor up by getting down in their face
3. the Rep. should have given the protestor the mike.
They seem to have forgotten that only conservative rwnj homophobic red neck gun loving racists do this kind of thing.
This is hilarious. Getting spewed by one of your own!
I am no fan of the first lady. Not even a little. That said respect costs nothing. I would have shown her the respect due her position. I don't blame her at all. I think that she demonstrated more restraint than I would have.
Michele didn't issue a smack-down, she used the "mob" to silence someone seeking non-discriminatory protection - how ironic.
she did nothing of the sort. The audience didn't appreciate the heckler as well.
Unless you think the audience should have let the heckler keep on going, thereby disrupting the reason they are there.
I certainly would not. If Michelle said nothing, and I was there, I'd stand up and shout the heckler down for being an idiot.
