People need to be smarter about what they put on social media. You're pretty ignorant if you don't know by now that employers are going to find what you put on there.

Exactly what I was thinking. I will say this, I have a friend who works for 911 and it is amazing some of the ridiculous and downright stupid things people will call 911 for. And some of them do get loud, angry, and belligerent when you try to explain that they shouldn't call 911 for certain issues. But the thing is, that behavior is not limited to black people (or any other race, for that matter). Idiots come in all persuasions. It sounds like this girl (I refuse to call her a woman) has some personal issues with black people, so she then tends to focus on the "time wasting" calls that she gets from black people as opposed to others.

Meh...I don't agree with it it.

Still, folks should be more careful about what they post on social media.
I'm going to guess that a) these rants became known to at least some of her co-workers, b) probably many of whom are black. This strikes me as the kind of job where workplace cohesion is particularly important. When the manner in which you conduct your private affairs has the potential to substantially impact the comity of your workplace for the worse... buh-bye.

Does everyone who has an opinion you disagree with earn the animal designation?

What I don't understand is why everyone wants to dictate what another person may say or think. Why isn't a person allowed to voice an opinion. The report never said she posted her racism during work hours, so she was fired for violating political correctness. She was in essence fired for having and voicing an opinion that others not only didn't like, but demanded the right to silence.

Makes me wonder which is worse.

How many imbeciles have to get fired for Facebook postings before people learn? If nothing else she deserves to be fired for being as dumb as a bag of rocks.

In an age of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
