It will take Dallas a long time to get past what happened to Deanna Cook. It was outrageous and unacceptable.
You can hold all sorts of ideas and have all kinds of opinions on everything under the sun, but you never had/never will have the right to voice them publicly without repercussions.

Sims was hired back in December, when Dallas police were trying to quickly hire 911 operators after delays in responding to critical cases, like Deanna Cook's murder. It was captured on a 911 tape, but through a series of mistakes, her body wasn't found until two days after her call for help.
April Sims does not have the necessary maturity for this kind of work.
They should screen applicants before things like this happen.
Looks like we both agree. I would not want to be around someone who thinks of all Black people as "animals". I'm Black and I don't consider myself an animal.
