Tn's coup was NOT getting Nissan to make cars here-it was getting them to relocate their corp hq here-a corp hq with a median income of 140k, and of course, a tremendous percentage of jobs requiring a Masters degree, at minimum.

SC & Ct both reported unemployment rates of 8% last month, while the nation was at 7.5%. 37 relos isn't going to nudge that .0001%.

Maybe if SC's contractors weren't dense, their unemployment rate might be better than the nation's, instead of worse.
