Zimmerman's defense seems to be winning so far. They have established that Trayvon was on top in the scuffle. This doesn't prove that Zimmerman was justified in using deadly force, but it is a victory for him.
I missed it completely because I had some things to do outside.
I figured I had plenty of time to get back in and catch some of it, so whatever redirect there was must have been very short.
Yes....The lawyers for both sides essentially asked about 2 questions each. I expected a lot more out of the prosecutor in clarifying some of the statements that the defense had been brow beating her about. The pros asked her to state whether her normal group used the terms as common language. She said yes.
The defense wanted to establish that she is born and raised in Miami....and did she understand English.....She got a bit oppositional stating that she did. Then he asked a question about culture and she drew a blank....He then asked if Trayvon commonly used the "cracker" term for white people...she said she didn't know.
About 5-10 minutes and entirely done. They spent more time at a side bar trying to decide if she could go home. The judge sent her home with the instructions that she could still be called back.

That was a clean recording, almost like the people on the phone had their voices filtered. I heard George screaming for help. You can also hear Trayvon punching and slapping George while he's on the ground. This time, I clearly heard 1 shot, one self-defense shot. George is lucky to be alive today.

They didn't establish that. It's wishful thinking on Michiganmoon's part.
I wonder what the TMobile man was supposed to represent. Defense asked about butt, or in this case, chest dialing, but I didn't get any significance as to the numbers called. Something must be coming down the pike.
And so far, Jenna hasn't offered anything new.
Clearly, though, there was a prolonged scuffle, which proves George didn't just set out to shoot Travon.
The witness on the stand right now validated Rachel's comment about hearing "grass" noises. Imagine, the prosecutor didn't even make her feel stupid for saying that.....I think it will support what Rachel said.
Dale..I think the mobile CEO is substantiating Rachel's testimony about calls, dropped calls and calls that were during the time the bluetooth came lose, when the first hit came.
But, it would be interesting if there was something else coming as you suggested.

West just exposed her and all blacks as racists by her answer that her culture calls all whites 'crackers'. Good job West. She paused when he asked if Trayvon used the word and she said she didn't know.
And she'll show a completely different attitude, and that will show her for what she is.
She is not the one on trial.
