The decision to not insure is the only financially responsible way to go. No publicly traded insurer will step in. One incident would equal a huge backlash and devaluation of their stock.

Nothing like a little bigotry to reinforce your ignorant statements, how classy.

IF they find insurance with a private insurer it will cost them $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Can you explain what's wrong with that picture?

Good luck with self insuring janitors and teachers with guns, can't wait for the school board to take on that elephant in the corner, do you have any idea what a lawsuit would cost. Picture a school with 100 teachers, imagine accidentally misfiring a gun or leaving it in the wrong place, happens all the time with supposed experts what district or insurance company is willing. All about risk management.

IF you don't see any potential problem in arming a bunch of schoolteachers, then I can't help you.

Arming a bunch of underpaid, overstressed, government employees. What could possibly go wrong?

I'm not sure there's anything you're qualified to help anyone with, I just asked a simple question and you apparently can't do any better than the OP at answering it.
