You're going to leave out Politicians?
One of the most dangerous predators around and people even vote for them.
Im reminded of the circus act where the performer sticks his head into the lions mouth

I prefer the good ol' conservative method of criminal justice. Just kill 'em all, even kids who jaywalk. We gotta nip those criminals in the making before they become criminals, you know. Plus, we have to strike fear into potential criminal adults so they won't commit crimes, like how the death penalty is effective in stopping murders in their tracks

Yes there are bad people who will do others harm, arm yourself or move.

Which would probably be less so if cops would climb out of their tanks, APC's and swat gear and go back to walking a beat and knowing the residents they're paid to serve.

It's been proven over and over that registration is nothing more than a feel good gesture, makes it look like the pols are doing something but that's all.

It might be helpful but it wouldn't be constitutional in my opinion. I feel that registries are cruel & unusual punishment and should be done away with. People who have served their time and been discharged from prison should not be subject to being outcasts for the rest of their lives.

If someone is dangerous I feel they should not be let out of prison.

If someone isn't dangerous, then the past should be the past and they shouldn't be blacklisted forever.

Except that the poor don't have equal access to those two options. Looks like both liberals and conservatives fail the poor.

And what do you say then they suffer an episode of recidivism and bash/kill more people?

"Oh well, I guess I was wrong...my bad."

to many crimes are felonies today and those charged with them are ruined for life weather convicted or not and often return to crime only to survive being unable to find employment elsewhere. We have made it a life sentence already why percecute them even more,it is unhealthy and wrong.

We can "what if" all day long with people. If you have doubts then they should still be locked up.
