I guess you have just convinced me to concede that it's appropriate to correlate the smallest of similarities with a party known to have an agenda of human extermination and an American political party. Makes sense

Opinions are not facts.

The VP is allowed to cast a vote in the Senate to break a tie.

The VP presides over and certifies the official vote count of the U.S. Electoral College.

My goodness. Such rabid partisans. Personally, I think the shutdown move was not a good one because it took away from highlighting the failures (called glitches in Democrat speak) of the opening of the exchanges. However, my pointing out that it is not the Republicans but the Democrats that are refusing to negotiate, as Reid and Obama have pointed out multiple times, was not an endorsement of either strategy but simply an observation of fact.
Behind Their Patriotic Disguise The Tea Party Behaves Like The American Taliban

Teabaggers are not patriots; they are the Tea Party Taliban. No other group in America openly threatens violent insurrection against the legally elected government of the United States, passes nullifications laws, supports theocracy, and no patriot calls for assassinating elected representatives for their votes.

Republicans are just as culpable for not tamping down threats and calls for revolution or civil war, and openly advocating for armed revolution “if President Obama won re-election.” There is a reason teabag leaders advocate for armed resistance against the federal government and it is because they know their followers are bound to take them seriously and begin an uprising to overthrow the government evident in gun zealots stockpiling weapons and ammunition to defend themselves against government tyranny they never claimed during the Bush Administration, and it exposes their real anti-American bent is racial animus. Teabaggers were content with millions of jobs lost, a decimated economy, and unnecessary wars so long as a white man was president, but they became uber-patriots fighting tyranny when an African American was elected President.

the NASI's were the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers’ Party) and they are very close to the MODERN liberal

the FACT is HISTORY has shown us what happens when you turn a blind eye.

simple things like 'nationalizing' corporations, nationalization of all trusts(banks),social security, eminate domain(agrarian reform) , removing the guns from the people, demand the end of capitolism, state(country) provided education, blame the jews (or the modern version 'the zionists'),.. 'fairness doctrine"( censorship of talk radia), redistribution of wealth).....COMMON GOOD BEFORE INDIVIDUAL GOOD .........

DO THESE SOUND FAMILIAR, YES THE ARE THE TALKING POINTS OF THE LIBERALS, THE DNC AND MOVEON.ORG..................

THEY ARE ALSO A LARGE PART OF HITLERS 25 POINTS

hitler came into power because germany (after ww1) was in economic depression and he was the candidate of 'hope and change',, his plans slowly moved from being helpful to dreadful,,he took true socialism, and spun it with fascism and the next thing you know he is a liberaL dictator

I assume you made the same post in the thread who called the Republicans, the American Taliban? A group that has killed people indiscriminately?

Instead of sophomoric attempts to impugn and malign my character, which BTW has family associated with the Millions of people the Nazis killed, why not address the premise of the thread itself, that being, that the democrat party, much like the nazis I compared them to, are acting just as blindly, if it's not their way, it's the highway, and the American people are suffering for it.

If you think you are educating me on a forum about German political history, then you are losing all all credibility with you grammar and endless use of caps and elipses. I appreciate the lesson, but I'm decently versed in German history since at least the Franco Prussian Wars.

Boehner is toast.
This will be brought up continuously in 2016.
Any hopes of a Republican majority in the Senate are gone.
Absolutely! This excuse for a legit political party knew that they had to rebrand themselves in order to compete in elections, but they also knew that they are not capable of doing this if they wanted to appeal to their bigotted base. The only other route was and is extortion. They took the low road because when you crawl on your belly like a reptile, it is the only choice you have.

Tell me, when Clinton shut down the government, how much damage was done?
