Isnt it too early to bring up the "war on Christmas"? If there was a war Christmas won. Nobody has mentioned liberal yet.
Liberals want to obscure the religious nature of Christmas because they represent thw Democrat Party and such socialist oriented groups oppose religion because bel.
Ief in a higher power is a threat to there god-the state.

Well, that is clear enough!
If I owned a retail store, as a matter of business I would probably wish for said employees to use the more neutral Happy Holiday greeting.
On an individual basis: I actually find myself only saying "Merry Christmas" on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. I tend to simply say "happy holidays" otherwise (i.e., in the weeks running up to December 25th), for I am also including New Years Day.
How I love the Holiday season on CD! We should start predicting the usual threads: the town that refuses the Manger scene, but allows the Satanist to do something; the town square that will only allow a Cross to be erected if the Star of David and such are likewise erected; how the President is going to declare December 25th a Muslim holiday.
Well, it is almost that time of the year again. People working in departments stores are instructed to say “Happy Holidays” instead of "Merry Christmas."
Well, yeah, Christmas is a religious holiday, but these days many people that are from other religions celebrate Christmas as well more as a holiday since its a large tradition in this country.
I wonder do you feel pressured or obligated to say "Happy Holiday" instead of "Merry Christmas"?
Why would I change what I do or say because of what a political activist wants? It's the political activist who is brainwashed not me.
Love to say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" not just to convey good wishes, but to watch the blood pressure max out in the narrow minded PC's I am unfortunate enough to encounter while celebrating the holiday.
happy holidays.. merry christmas... it's all lovely.. and I won't take offense..
Not this tired old issue again... if you expect to be told merry christmas and someone says happy holidays...and that p*sses you off... go jump off a bridge already...or better yet wear the biggest god damn cross you can find on your neck so everyone knows you're a christian and will tell u what you feel you should be told...I dunno what to do for your people
Wow, Christmas creep arrives early this year. 76 more days of "It's a war on Christmas" outrage. Have a gander at these pagan Christmas cards from Bush & Reagan:
Excellent point.............although they would say your need to PC up.
You know who tells me I need to 'PC up'?
Certain coworkers, who insist that they receive "Merry Christmas!" instead of "Happy Holidays!". They're not actually talking to me, I just hear the rants every time Christmas season rolls around and they begin to wallow in their self-perceived victimization.
That's precisely what political correctness is - speech codes. Of course, an inevitable characteristic of those who whine about political correctness is that the speech codes of which they approve are never considered political correctness - only the ones they dislike.
Such a sad and pathetic exercise in narcissism, it is.
There is no war on Christmas and for the record that's not an ex in Xmas, it's a khi. Ever hear of the Khi-Rho? If you're offended by Xmas then you should also be offended by the Khi-Rho
