The sad thing is that many people who saw the original story won't see the retraction, those who don't want to believe it was a lie will go on believing it and repeating it, and the truth gets trampled once again.

I just KNEW the left nuts would be here like clockwork talking about this. This is all contrived and the nuts were sent out to continue the propaganda. The FBI is lying, they are under orders from Obama/Holder. The WH didn't like the fact that 60 minutes told the truth, so they used their iron fist as usual.

Obama did fly off to a fund raiser, and we still do not know who those Americans were in the consulate, nor what they were doing there. Hell, we don't even know what Obama was doing or where he went, after he washed his hands of Benghazi and told Penetta to handle things, during the initial phase of the attacks on Sept 11.
First, it was not a consulate. Second, there is credible information that a highly classified CIA operation was going on there.
I guessing Lindsey Graham will be apologizing for holding up confirmation hearings based on this report now. Mike Huckabee and the other Fox News types will be apologizing for talking about this story as well.
Yeah, lets watch Huckabee tomorrow to hear his heart felt apology for spreading false witness.
This is what happens when you have a Bald Face Liar such as Dear Leader running your country. Reporters trying to chase down facts in what should have been resolved in Sept 2012 had the Banana Administration just come clean to begin with instead of blaming their failures on a stupid video. And we still don't know what happend other than Onumbnuts flew off to a fundraiser the next morning just a few short hours after our Ambassdors body was being dragged thru the streets.

CBS has apologized for a “60 Minutes” report on Benghazi that was so wrong that it could have been produced by Darrell Issa.
The rightwing media was so eager to believe the fake story that this “Morgan Jones” peddled to 60 Minutes that they actually praised 60 Minutes. I guess the “lamestream” media isn’t quite so lame when it’s saying things that the right wing wants to hear. Of course, the reason that 60 Minutes was saying things that the rightwing wanted to hear was that their facts were wrong. That really should have clued them in from the beginning.
I heard the Benghazi word probably thousands of times on right wing media.....over many a week. It could have been on a pre recorded loop, it was invoked so often. Strangely no one over there, seems to even remember the event anymore. Besides the phrase of the week is now "low information voter"........ahhh, right wing comedy, always so amusing.
We could ask them what the hell they were doing there, we do not even know that basic info.
