Now we hear 'We want to know everything all the time' from the same people.

By the way, the company (Simon & Schuster) was bringing out this book under their conservative imprint, Threshold Editions, which also publishes Glenn Beck,Jerome Corsi, the Cheney women, Karl Rove, etc., etc. S&S is owned by CBS who also owns 60 Minutes. Black eyes all over the place.

This Benghazi tragedy's political aftermath is further proof of the craven and dishonest nature of conservative ideology.
When GWBush was president there were at least a dozen of these kinds of attacks around the world and far more than 4 people died in those attacks.
Yet the Democratic Party did not treat those tragedies as a means to attack GWBush that's why we don't remember all of those attacks when GWBush was president because Democrats didn't use those incidents.
The Obama administration has One such tragedy occur and a year later conservatives are still lying about it.
The President isn't all powerful. Congress can speak to anyone it calls. And Congress has done just that.
conservatives believe that after a year of congressional investigations led by conservatives and still nothing is known about Benghazi? This of course defies logic.
One question, How is it possible to investigate an incident for a year and Congress not have spoken to the survivors of the incident that congress is investigating?
This gets to the one of the fundamental problems of conservative ideology, the inability to deal with objective reality and accept it.
conservatives continue to drift further and further away from reality.
The sad thing is that many people who saw the original story won't see the retraction, those who don't want to believe it was a lie will go on believing it and repeating it, and the truth gets trampled once again.
And a sorry excuse for a retraction it was that 60 Minutes aired tonight. After the huge sensational promotion the show did for the original piece, they relegate their "apology" to 90 seconds tacked onto the end of the show, and it amounts to little more than Logan making a few feeble excuses for her own shoddy and biased reporting. The program should have done a segment during the broadcast to address the myriad of falsehoods they aired last week. Instead, we get a weak, "We made a mistake," with no clarification, no correction of the "facts" they got wrong. Nothing.
Logan should be fired, and on the 60 Minutes of old, where journalistic integrity mattered, she would have been already. But CBS has apparently decided to take their news division the Fox News route instead, where eye candy, sensationalism and biased reporting trumps credibility, fact-checking and substance.
60 Minutes has given its viewers no reason to ever trust or believe anything they air again. Sad ending for a once great show.

This is what happens when you have a Bald Face Liar such as Dear Leader running your country. Reporters trying to chase down facts in what should have been resolved in Sept 2012 had the Banana Administration just come clean to begin with instead of blaming their failures on a stupid video. And we still don't know what happend other than Onumbnuts flew off to a fundraiser the next morning just a few short hours after our Ambassdors body was being dragged thru the streets.

Good catch there Ringo1 and sullyguy, because we all know there was no conspiracy to put out a cover story about a video causing riots, the state department provided all the security asked for, they were definitely not caught asleep at the switch on the anniversary of 9/11 and Obama definitely did not fly off to a fund raiser the next day!

People are sick and tired of seeing the GOP parade those four bodies through the streets over and over again. How many 'investigations' has there been? Eleven? How about fixing social security instead? There is no political juice left in those bodies, so they might as well quit sucking their bones.

Well since your dear leader is in charge - have him get right on it! I'd like to see it fixed too but it won't happen if you continually borrow from Peter to pay Paul or just keep printing Obamabucks.
