Hollywood has always been on the wrong side of most issues. They loved the Communist movement in the 1930's, 40's until they found out how bad Communism really was and then it was "ops"...we made a mistake. I always loved the myth of a "black list" which has never been produced. Now it is just all about pushing drug abuse and gay life style.

Oh, and when you bring up state facts you should drill down to the county level. You will be surprised that even Blue states have many Red counties. See New Jersey for example.
