Another one who doesn't know how the immune system functions, yet thinks s/he does.
To answer the first question, vaccines are not 100% effective, though some come quite close. Even having natural disease does not confer 100% immunity to some diseases, e.g. pertussis (a baddie), chickenpox (has caused documented deaths, which is something you can't say about the vaccine), and others. That is why boosters are required for some vaccines, and/or two doses in the case of others, such as chickenpox.
If you are immune to a disease, you can't get it, therefore, you cannot be a carrier. about that!
OK, I thought about it for 1.5 seconds, and I can't believe you say the outlandish things you do.
First, what you are trying to promote, without actually using the term, is "herd immunity". People who are prone to accept the concept of herd immunity are sadly belonging to a herd ... of sheep. But you need not be symptomatic to carry a disease, and most educated and intelligent people already know this. And you said yourself that feces is a vector for disease, which is also something most people already understand. So if poop can carry it, and I've never seen a poop with the actual flu (lol), so can a person. The alleged immunity from vaccines is due to antibody production which is not a god damned STAR TREK DEFLECTOR SCREEN! The antibodies are alleged to prevent the virus from replicating to a load sufficient to cause illness ... not prevent the virus from inhabiting your body, and therefore one can certainly serve as a vector without ever developing symptoms. Of course you admit that when you admitted that vaccinated people shed (carry and infect others) the virus.
Now, the punch line to this grand joke on the public .... like everything else they are told about vaccines (which the exact opposite of the truth), the idea that the unvaccinated are the great threat to the vaccinated is ALSO THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF THE TRUTH.
Forget the logic that if the vaccines were actually effective, there would be no need to worry about exposure ..... the common sense version of logic would demand one simple question ... who is more likely to pose a threat to whom ... the unvaccinated person who might have a 5% chance of incidental exposure to the wild virus, or the one who is deliberately injected with the virus? What a simple question, that shouldn't take a lot of mental engergy to answer!

Reason: rude
They are the only places you can find TRUTH LIKE THIS about vaccines!!
No, that is where the lies confirm your bias...History confirms undeniably that vaccines have prevented many millions of deaths....
A comprehensive system of vaccine development in the U.S. resulted in a reduction of 87 to more than 99 percent in illness from ten vaccine-preventable diseases during the twentieth century.
There once was a time when all food was organic and no pesticides were used. Health problems were treated with folk wisdom and natural remedies, and there were no vaccines. There was no obesity, and people got lots of exercise. And in that time gone by, the average life expectancy was … 35.....Why would anyone want to go back to these times?
"How does polio spread?
Polio is usually spread via the fecal-oral route (i.e.,
the virus is transmitted from the stool of an infected
person to the mouth of another person from contaminated
hands or such objects as eating utensils).
Some cases may be spread directly via an oral to
oral route.
Surprisingly, 95% of all individuals infected with
polio have no apparent symptoms.
Another 4%–8% of infected individuals have symptoms
of a minor, non-specific nature, such as sore
throat and fever, nausea, vomiting, and other common
symptoms of any viral illness.
About 1%–2% of infected individuals develop nonparalytic
aseptic (viral) meningitis, with temporary
stiffness of the neck, back, and/or legs. Less than
1% of all polio infections result in the classic “flaccid
paralysis,” where the patient is left with permanent
weakness or paralysis of legs, arms, or both.
How serious is polio?
Although most cases of polio are mild, the 1% of
cases resulting in flaccid paralysis has made polio a
feared disease for hundreds of years. Of people with
paralytic polio, about 2%–5% of children die and up
to 15%–30% of adults die."

This expectancy does not really apply to orientals and native americans.

Now, answer the question: Before the polio vaccine, what protected 99% of the human population from poliomyelitis?

Mostly it applies to the grubby English.
I am not sure what period was being referred to with that posters comments or what group. Sanitation, access to clean water and food is a very important part of societal health. So is nutrition.

The Germans were smart; they ate sauerkraut.
If they'd been sailors, they'd have conquered the world.
