Also, you are aware servers in many states get paid below minimum wage?
Well I have worked in a casino for ten years and they all pooled their tips. From the servers to the dealers to the slot folks. So I guess you know more than me. I was just at Perkins fixing their register a week ago and they were all waiting for me to get done so they could get their "shared" tips on the printout. I guess you know more than everybody though lifer.

I don't care what they get paid. If they don't like it they can go get another job. That is the beauty of America. You don't like your job go get another one. If your "poor" "servers don't like their job then do just what I said. Unreal how you folks think we should pay money to people who choose to do a job. THEY choose it. If THEY don't like it get another job. Not rocket science.

I would pay about $10-15 an hour with benefits and offer a college grant program for employees that choose to use it. Therefore I would have no issue with minimum wage being set at $10.
So you as a first time business owner would offer a college grant program. Now who is gonna pay for that grant program? I mean are you just loaded down with money you can throw around and not have any repercussions years later? What if you promised your employees this program and your business goes to **** which it obviously would?? I guess you don't care. Maybe you think the government will pick up your promises? Yes I bet you do.

So a Perkins and a casino you worked at pools their tips, yep, I am sold that must mean every wait staff pool their tips. Well the numerous places I have known over 10 years in the service industry did not pool tips, nor do the places friends I have work at pool tips. So I guess I know that not every place pools their tips.

Nice deflection, I didn't say if you cared to pay your employees or not, I said how much would that minimum wage would be for your entry level workers seeing that there would be no minimum wage. My entry level would be $10 an hour. Could you try and answer the question without deflections?

Oh no, this fast food business I am running has been up and running healthy for the past 15 years. It is quite successful of a program, I based it on another fast food company that I know that does the same program.

It's unreal listening to your nonsense. Waaaaaaaaaaa I don't want to cost the servers money.............they care less. The guy at the next table tips twice as much they are all good. Can you even realize that? You get "tipped" for quality service. You do it well and are nice and take care of the CUSTOMER you will get a tip from everybody. Actually most liberals cry and moan more and don't leave any tip.

I once delivered a pizza (12" small, pepperoni) to a Republican state senator (who later became governor), his wife (who was a state rep) answered the door (all the way at the end of our delivery area) and gave me a check for the exact amount ($4.25) and no tip. And I delivered a pizza to a Democrat state rep, his wife answered the door and gave me a tip of something like 40 cents (gave me bills and said keep the change).

In my experience, lawyers were the stingiest customers, with politicians right behind them.

Delivering pizzas is a fairly dangerous job and most of the customers never even consider tipping, They go to a restaurant and tip, but when they're too lazy to go out, and prefer to stay home in their underwear and call for a pizza, the driver has to navigate the ice and drunks on the road but no tip. What's up with that?

You are so full of BS I am about to give up. That is what you liberals do though.

Ah yes, when you lose an argument you resort to deflecting and insulting, good job, we both knew you were wrong, I just called you out on it. It definitely puts into question your knowledge of the service industry if you think just because two places you have been to pooled their tips that everyone service industry job must also pool their tips, that is inaccurate information from you as usual.

Sigh. OK you DO like to foam at the mouth.

Tip pooling adds complexity, and isn't even legal in all states. Additionally recent legal actions have made it even more problematic. That being said, its not uncommon. I dont have the percentages, and it probably varies by state, local laws, and lawsuits. It IS illegal almost everywhere to force a employee to participate.

but KUchief is probably correct that as of today its fairly common. might just be that in your area however it is illegal, or more complex then in KUchiefs.

You make no sense like usual lifer. I'm not deflecting anything just speaking from life. Something you will have to go and check on your liberal websites before you get back. That is the problem with you libs. Most of you are ok folks you just lap up the BS you are fed. Hell my neighbors are all libs but we get along great. They aren't MSNBC loons. We throw stuff at each other once in a while but all is well. We had dinner last night and I said Mandela was a commie and my lib neighbor just laughed. See how that works?? Instead of attacking folks get to know em then attack em and laugh. You want to pay some clown stoner fiftenn bucks an hour then YOU hire em don't make others do it to make you feel good.
