What I meant was that California is full of liberals. On that level that is the nutty part. I have traveled myself some but being a nut politically doesn't mean they can't be warm and friendly. We have our share of warm and friendly people here in the Golden State and that would include many liberals. Just don't like their politics.
Funny you should mention Temecula as I am contimplating a move to Murietta. Small world, right?
Wow this is a small world. Don't really want to move from OC or the beach area, but have to do what is right for now.
Wow Murietta is so close to Temecula, we found some really nice places with a lot of land in the wine Country out that way. And yes cheaper then San Clemente.
Murietta is also very nice, we have friends who live there. This time not the huge house, been there done that, and we do it all ourselves. This may seem so big to you, but coming from 5,500 sq ft in a single level home, that looks like a two story. Probably looking at around 3,500 this time around, in another custom single level design. Who knows maybe smaller, depends really on the lay out of the house, and how open it is. May have to check Murietta out myself.
When you have a lot of company and you entertan a lot, have to have ample room. Who knows we move to Temecula and you Murietta, may have to have you over for home made Italian.
Yes I agree with you on the libs in the State know what you mean.
The will of the people of California and the will of the people within the proposed new boundaries should be respected.
True, but the will of the people of California was not respected when a biased gay man in a black robe overturned the clear will of the people to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman.
California is now under the yoke of judicial tyranny.
Harrier is pessimistic about the will of the people being respected if we choose to create new states within our current boundaries.

My nephew lives in Murrieta and has a beautiful very large home. Bought it when the prices were really down. Hmm, Italian? Both my wife and I love Italian food, lol. Good luck to you. Guess we'd better get back on topic now though.
SOO we are going to change our entire voting procedure for ONE election?? By the way there were four, but one of them doesn't really count.
You made a statement and I corrected your statement with facts. We shouldn't change the voting procedures because of one election. We should change them because the electoral college is a process that is outdated... Let the popular vote pick the president...
People have been fascinated by California before most anyone besides the original inhabitants even knew that it existed.
Remember, it was named after a fictional paradise island.
Now it is paradise for anyone who wants to come here illegally, or live off of the work of others.
Heck, if you are an illegal alien, this state will give you a drivers license and even allow you to practice law!
Imagine that - willfully and unrepentantly break the law and be rewarded by becoming an officer of the court.
I agree with you even if others won't. There is a fascination with California, my freaking gosh, look at our Fantastic Weather, that won't be beat.
And we always have people moving to Calif. from other States. And the thing is they love it out here.
Some things I wish could change, but that is a given with any State you live in. There is good and there is bad. Would not change our weather for anything ever.
We have the Desert, Mountains and the Beaches, rural areas if you want them, and the cities and in between.
Yes lets not go there, the illegal part, we can do without. And as for that illegal being able to practice law, nothing surprises me anymore with these people.
No shoveling snow, getting stuck, snowplows and frigid cold.
We have people moving here from many different States, and they love it. Realitives of mine from other States, constantly gripe about things in there States. Good and Bad with all of them.
The political machine out here definitely sucks. If the illegals left, it would be more of a paradise.
Not ready to leave yet, been to almost all the States, some I like some I definitely dislike.

What was wrong about my statement that needed corrected? I said for you to research all the elections where the Pop vote didn't match the Electoral vote ... You stated ONE 2000, when there were FOUR ... 1824, 1876, 1888, and 2000.
