Why are you so hung up on 'the fathers'? This is your second or third post mentioning 'fathers'.

Do you know that both kids have different fathers, or is that something you just assume for some reason?

Why wouldnt you question where the father is? Its not the mothers sole responsibility to raise children.

Excellent. She can buy a brand new Durango to fry her kids in.

Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Such agencies can do incredibly stupid things at times.

A while back, there was a case of a young girl in southern California who was raped in her bedroom. She claimed a stranger entered through her bedroom window and raped her. The child protective "authorities" for some reason believed her Navy father did it, and took the child away from both parents because the mother refused to leave the father.

The father was acquitted by the courts, and the courts ordered the child returned to the parents...but the child protective authorities refused to obey the court order.

Years passed. The actual rapist was found, arrested, and convicted on DNA evidence...and the child protective authorities still refused to return the girl.

More years passed before they were forced to return the daughter.

What is the difference if she left a 6 month old and two year old in car to go shopping or job interview? None because the reason is not the point; its the endangerment; plain and simple. Too young.

Hopefully the money can go to finding a save house and a caring family for the babies, rather than the self absorbed idiot that locked them in the car in the Arizona sun.

Well there was at least one in the picture 15 months ago -- why wasn't he helping by watching the kids so they didn't have to be left in the car? Kids have TWO parents, but it's all on her.

I don't see the issue....this is truly f'd up. The gov wants to break up the western family.

My mother left me in the car from time to time....never long and never in extreme weather.

As far as thinking they are different is that if the father of the older kid was still in the picture for the baby, she wouldn't likely be homeless and he'd still be there helping to take care of their kids. Or his family would offer to help if for some reason her family couldn't.

She seems to be pretty much all on her own without any kind of family at all -- and with two young kids. No father helping in any way.
