Forget "fairness". That's a term used by politicians to get your vote and nothing else.
i'm not going to forget 'fairness'.
that's the whole friggin point, to me.
i believed in tax fairness before politicians started talking about it, and i will believe in tax fairness long after politicians stop talking about it.

Yeah, the conversion is the rub. I could leave all my dough in my business and never pay a cent beyond payroll taxes on it, but I have to eat, and my company does not.
If you borrow money against those funds, that borrowed money is tax exempt, and the interest is cheaper than tax obligations.
Doncha know, a lot of people believe that those who work for minimum wage should not even THINK about entertainment or dating. Some of them are even the same people who lament the decline of marriage.
All you did was find an excuse for them not to contribute to society.

Total= $16,070.
These full time working Americans living expenses are greater than their salary, that's why they get tax refunds.
And occasionally they have added expenses like purchasing a new car, ex.ex. that's why they really need their tax refunds.
But without that government, they wouldnt have roads and bridges in order to travel on, or the internet, etc.. thats all we heard from the left non stop..
But somehow, these people shoudlnt have to contribute their "fair share"
Someone earning only $16,000 a year SHOULD NOT be living in a situation with the above costs. Get roommates. Reduce expenses. Basic common sense.
No wonder the working poor have such a hard time climbing their way out of low-level incomes. They make HORRIBLE decisions.
And they also ignore that much of those expenses are subsidized. Someone earning $16K a year has the ability for reduced phone, reduced electric, and yes, should be sharing a place with a roomate who pays 1/2 the rent.
Its poor decisions, being encouraged by government which limites these individuals from moving up.
i'm not clear on what you think i believe, but i assume no responsibility for what other posters here say or think.
no **** that's basic ... now tell me something i don't know.
The system was not designed to fund the government......that is a by-product.
It is designed to keep the money moving.
I can run $900,000 a year though my books and pay "0"....if I have past investments (deprecation) or, current ones.....cost of goods...services and other expenses.

Go find something I actually said that you think is wrong
And post it
and tell me what's wrong with it.
