In more recent times Lawrence v. Texas trumped a former ruling.
Yes, but how often does a judge completely ignore a higher court's case law? So, do you think it's okay to ignore SCOTUS now?

You mean the dead Americans that don't actually vote and when they do show up as if they had voted it is because someone on the polling side voted for them, something photo IDs wouldn't prevent.

Remind me to tell my 96 yr old grandmother that she needs to get her butt down to the DMV and get that ID updated.

I have never understood the logic that voter ID keeps the poor from voting because they can't get a government issued ID. You have to have ID to get food stamps, WICK, Obamacare, etc., etc., etc.

Who exactly are these poor people without IDs? Or is this issue just a Mitch Snyder homeless number - made up!

So you would support my idea that we should have stricter registration laws? To me, while voter ID is okay, the real problem is at the registration level where, in some states, you do not have to prove citizenship at all in order to register. Oh and the identification requirements are subpar as well.

Your 96 year old grandmother was not born just yesterday. What excuse has she used for the last
forty some years for not having proper identification.

It is a lame excuse.

She has never learned how to drive and she grew up in an era where you didn't need an ID for everything.

No, I prefer how Oregon does their voter registration and voting.

Have the government workers that work where a photo ID would be created go out to people's homes and give them an ID there. No excuse then.
