This coming from a liberal arts university no less. I am both shocked and amazed!
Of course everyone knows Hitler and Mussolini were socialist fascists. It is why the socialist fascists in the US attempted to change their identity by calling themselves "liberals" during the 50s and 60s. When they realized that everyone saw through their facade they once again changed their name to "progressives."
Today's liberal freaks and progressives are exactly the same socialist fascists that sprouted up in Italy and Germany during the 20s and 30s. The US may have helped cleanse Europe of socialist fascism during the 40s, but we certainly failed to clean up our own backyard. Socialist fascism is alive and well in the Democratic Party. Obama is living proof.
This thread is very confusing, the title makes you think this is about the Democrats wanting to be appealing to white men, then when you click on the link it looks like an opinion piece on how old white men are predominantly Republican, which they are a dying breed, and pretty much all the Republicans really have a stronghold on. Which leads me to believe, why would the Democrats care how old white men vote when old white men don't have a big enough impact on the vote?
Because the Democratic party is bankrolled by old white rich men.
Too little, too late. More black Americans are coming to their senses and jumping off this Democrat ship as well.
Yeah it only took them about 50 years, They are seeing the massive wave of 3rd worlders coming and realize they are being pushed aside in favor of a massive leftist voting block..
Personal Attack and changing the subject, classic.
A person can't post an opinion piece written by a college student for the student run "Objectivist" paper from 1997, act as though it's a researched published paper, express surprise that it came from a "liberal arts college" and then feign shock when called on it.

They're also increasingly realizing that the Democrats' adamant insistence on opposing school vouchers has been as highly effective as the defacto Jim Crow laws that Democrats are no longer able to have, and is definitely NOT in their children's best interest.
"Pro-voucher voters among racial minorities overwhelmingly support Barack Obama, but they are baffled by the Democratic nominee's opposition to vouchers. They also say they are frustrated that Democratic leaders appear to be more concerned about keeping the peace with teachers unions -- which adamantly oppose vouchers -- than about finding alternatives that could advance desperately needed education reforms for minority students.
...Public opinion polls also show solid support for school vouchers among minority parents. Sixty-five percent of adult African-Americans and 63 percent of adult Hispanics favor the use of vouchers, according to a national survey conducted earlier this year under the auspices of the journal Education Next and the Program on Education Policy and Governance at Harvard University. In the survey, more than half of minority adults gave higher marks to their local police than their public schools.
"There is no doubt that on this issue, ...Obama has it wrong," Martin wrote."
Just another example of minorities voting against their best interest: the Democrat-mandated Jim Crow-style education into which way too many minority children are trapped.
Personal Attack and changing the subject, classic.
They can't refute the facts, so that's the only avenue left for them into which to channel their frustration. It happens a lot.
