3D printing is invented by Hull, who is anti-gun and advocated against using his invention to print guns. Of course, this information just threw over your head when you read my statement.

Furthermore, many liberals by nature are intellectually curious and like to think outside the box; 3D printing, printing of guns included, would be something that might spark a liberal's interest where he/she might not have that interest in guns prior to the mass availability of 3D printing.

Kinda ironic.

Ohh you meant the other one....

I'm not seeing any huge anti-gun things...got a link?

I have this quote...its not exactly anti-gun....
"Yeah, it’s a concern. That’s where the people who come up with and enforce the public-safety laws, that’s their concern and responsibility. 3D printing is probably not the best way to make a gun these days. If somebody wants to make guns, there are lots of technologies to do it with. I think the fact is that people who want to make guns now can make guns. It’s maybe the responsibility of the people who police legal issues to adapt to the technology." - charles hull

The nice thing about a 3D printer is that a simple software patch might be all thats needed to make that semi automatic a fully automatic gun. Actually by the time 3D printing fully prefected it might be just as easy to print up a first generation phase pistol like Jonathan Artcher carried on Star Trek Enterprise or a Klingon sonic disrupter.

Ummm, it is the internal components that make an AR Full or Semi Automatic not the lower receiver.
