That's why they're so unhappy. No one they help tote water for and helped get elected have done anything for them. Obama and the Democrats have turned their attention toward and are now busy courting the Hispanics.

Smart move by them, though there really isn't much courting to really do.

Yeah, they were just soooooo much better before 2008...

(I'm guessing you forgot about Katrina, O.J., and the '92 L.A. Riots? That's just within the last 25 years.)

The Ferguson episode did major damage to any credibility the black community might have ever had. No one with any measure of logic and common sense can look at the physical and emotional response to the Mike Brown incident and say "Gee, black people are so rational and responsible!!" In fact, they should be saying the exact opposite, and the truth is most people are. A major setback for the black community indeed.

It's not your place to speak on what the black community is or what it does...

Hmm! Is the black community a separate nation? I think not. Such lack of control affects us all in one way or another and affects the United States as a whole. We all have the right to comment regardless of our race.

Thinking otherwise a part of the problem.

I completely agree with this. Especially after Ferguson, it will be even more difficult for poor blacks to rent outside of their usual neighborhoods. And much less likely for any new businesses to want to set up shop in black majority neighborhoods.

Why not? The black community is a part of US society as a whole. What goes in the black community affects ALL of us. And btw YOUR academically challenged children cost us taxpayers so much more in public school funding and research trying to figure out how to make black student perform well in school and become productive adults later on in life... when it's ALL the fault of bad black parenting skills AND black men not marrying their baby mommas.

Why not? Are you not Americans as well? Are you a separate nation? No, you're not.

You're right. The black community of Ferguson should have thanked Massa Cap'n Darren Wilson for dealing with that uppity slave Mike Brown.
