Schools are becoming the new police force..

My daughter came home the other day and told me that there was a rumor another child killed his parents.. Kid was in school, cops kept calling the individual to the office to "question" him about whatever it was.

I have instructed my kids to refuse to talk to the police in school about anything. The going to the school to talk to students thus avoiding parental interaction I find insulting and most parents should agree.

The headline is misleading though. They are being suspended not expelled. I think even being suspended is stupid as all get out though.

High School mascot for Somerville Nj was a 'pioneer' holding a musket. Not anymore, the pioneer's musket was taken from him.

Let's put all the facts out there. The reason the school reacted was because the student titled the photo "Homecoming" and posted it just hours after the school shooting in Washington.

As many know MA is a significant place in the history of the USA with regard to the revolutionary war. We have a Minute Man musket on display at the State House. Gov. Deval Patrick ordered that a trigger lock be placed on it. I, for one, feel safer already......

No way. Seriously, y'all have to be kidding me. Removing a musket from a patriot mascot, adding a trigger lock to a museum piece. Are y'all actually serious?? Seriously, this isn't a practical joke?
