Learning history indeed. Asians, specifically the Chinese were treated as badly as blacks. Asians evolved their relationships in this country while blacks sat back and blamed and continue to blame whites for every negative issue in their lives. All other races have done far more to improve their collective lives while blacks are stuck on reliving lives of which they really had no part. Really, learn all the history, not just black history to use as a crutch.
Denials that race doesn't play a role in what is well-regarded within society are naive. As much progress as has been made, society is still rife with a pattern of racial bias in practically all of its institutions. Reasonable people can disagree about what is to be done about it, but to refuse to acknowledge the problem is ridiculous.
What is ridiculous is to ignore the fact that the only color Hollywood cares about is GREEN.
