“Tax the rich” and “income inequality” are mantras for Democrats, useful idiots. Most of the truly wealthy lean to the left, and couldn’t care less about income or taxes. They don’t need incomes to stay prosperous, as their wealth is already in the bank

Income matters more to the middle class but they need money above their expenses to build wealth. Make more, government takes more. Wow, what a trap!

The capitalistic-created American middle class is somewhat unique in a world historically. It is a fragile and newly-formed group that can easily be crushed. Why is it necessary for Democrats to eliminate the middle class? ... The middle class is a republican voting block. Theoretically in any socialist system, there is only room for two classes, the ruling class and the proletariat, i.e., the struggling poor.

Really? Apparently you have ignored the actions of Republicans entirely.

Nothing I stated had anything to do with taxes. However taxing higher income streams will in fact slow the rapid rise in wealth inequality. You seem unwilling to recognize that reality.

Shrug. Nothing I say will ever change your mind on this however as you've made perfectly clear with your rants.

Ok.. so you believe in slowing down the rise in wealth (bring people down) rather than encouraging building wealth. So you want people to be poorer.

And nothing I say will change your mind. You've made it perfectly clear that you think taking money from the people and funneling it to the government is good, yet I remember when you posted you had no problem paying more, I'll bet you STILL DID NOT write that extra check to the government. You talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

Actually I don't think either is but the Democrats who love imposing more taxes on Americans (taking more of their money) are the worse of the two. The poor are nothing more than cheap votes to Democrats. 7 + years of "the one" and did you notice most are still in poverty?

HOPE & CHANGE LOL

LOL. wow. the nonsense.

Slowing down the RISE in wealth does not make people poorer.

And look, another argument about how you want others to pay your share. Hey since I don't want to pay for the massive military, when will you pay up the extra for me? Sorry, but it doesnt work that way. Stop it with the nonsense.

I notice all you have is complaints.....whats the solution to rising wealth inequality? You dont have a realistic one. Its just easier to throw eggs at it.

Retirement Question 4 | EBRI
And once again pay attention to the hands ladies and gentleman. The truth is all retirement investments don't even make up half of the stock owned in the country. The Top 1 Percent Of Americans Own Half Of The Country's Stocks, Bonds, And Mutual Funds. For example the waltons who own walmart owns over 50% of all walmart stocks. Thats just a handfull of people. The other 50% is owned by a thousand separate entities which are different corporations and different people. Retirement state funds are a few portfolios mixed in. Its weird to justify a system as ok because a few non wealthy people are benefiting.

Could you imagine if people like the waltons for example actually paid 39.6%(current fed income tax rate for highest level individual) on there profits that are required by an individual earning income. Wow we would have no shortfalls.

But what would life be like if we had no government regulations? All one has to do is look back to the time of sweat shops, child labor even slavery. Im one to believe in freedom and liberty. But i am also one who understands that humanity isn't ready to live without some form of law & order or government regulation. I hear people say today eliminate labor regulations and corporations will come back. But look at the corporations who took jobs to different third world countries. Alot of the work conditions are sweat shops, even today in our advanced society.
