A person with courage is someone like a soldier fighting in the Middle East for people to be free, the policeman who risks his/her life to save someone, the firemen who risk their lives fighting fires, medics who save the lives of people in the E.R. ,, the mom and dad who decide that a disabled child is not going to be aborted and is raising the child even with challenges, thats real courage. it is not courageous to have a surgery, wear a Halloween costume, and claim "Im a woman".

People like you are exactly why Jenner's actions are courageous.

The ignorance shown in this thread alone, not to mention other threads in this forum, during a time when a plethora of information is available at our fingertips, is one of the reasons our country has gone downhill.

Our downfall has nothing to do with how one identifies oneself sexually and everything to do with flat out ignorance and the stubborn refusal to learn anything new.

I wouldn't know. I don't watch the show and wouldn't recognize a Kardashian if I bumped into one at Ralph's. Caitlyn isn't a Kardashian. She's an out-and-proud Jenner. Don't like it? Don't look.

If someone believes that gender cannot truly be changed, is that really hate? Is that word being tossed around too freely?

Did you miss the posts where people are calling Jenner a freak, etc.?

So Big D, how did you vote?

I say leave it. I don't even think this should have been brought up as a consideration. But if that's the most pressing thing the residents have to worry about, that's a town I'd like to live in.

Should Jenner be inducted into the Int'l Women's Sports Hall of Fame?

He said he was always a woman trapped in a man's body, so he theoretically was one when he won his olympic medal?
