Yup, two black people kill a white guy with almost no media coverage and whites are racist. Blacks and the media calling people racists is starting to be like McCarthy calling people communists.
it happens every time. black racialists squeal 'racism!' when white people dare to notice the fact that other white people are being murdered by blacks on a regular basis.
Unfortunately, having a protector dog, even a big, 100% German Shepherd, won't be much help against a kid with a gun who is determined to use it on you. The bullet will be faster than the dog.
Two things to note here. First many people have a legitimate fear of an aggressive dog. So just as strong powerful body language helps deter predators from attacking, so would an intimidating dog.
Aside from that, many a dog were used to be a distraction, even lay down their life to save their master. Great Danes were used to protect a hunter in the woods from bears. The idea was not so much the Great Dane would kill the bear, but instead give the hunter time to shoot the bear or flee.
If this man had a large intimidating dog like a German Shepherd it might have deterred the losers to begin with. If nothing else it might have helped provided enough time for the guy disarm the attacker or flee while the dog was being shot at.
As much as I've loved my dogs over the years, my life is more valuable than theirs.
If blacks stopped having so many darn illegitimate children the situation would change guaranteed. Black men should step up and be responsible for once and stop having multiple baby mommas. It is not a poor black people issue either because just look at most of the famous black athletes and rappers with money. They also have a bunch of babby mommas spread all over the place. Black men just have no shame and suck as fathers plain and simple. Be RESPONSIBLE Black men.

CD has many closeted racists trying to spew their ideology under the cloak of rational debates; what they fail to realize is that their intentions are extremely transperent. Just look at the title of this thread.

Sure there are, just like most forums. At least CD does not overly censor peoples discussions on race, or even worse, allow only PC type of thoughts.
For instance, many, maybe even you are conditions to think a thread title mentioning the race of a minority criminal is racist. Yet if the reverse is read (white man shoots unarmed black), it does not raise eyebrows nor receive accusations of racism.
Explain that to us if you can
So again I ask, what are YOU doing? And if you think this is a "black" problem, you are more wrong than you can ever realize.
Your last comment seems to infer blacks do not bear the greatest responsibility to solve these problems within the black communities.
Granted if you are black, you as an individual are only responsible for you and your family, not the ills of society in general, nor black culture in particular.
However for all those who are white and wishing to help, there are impediments. For instance, I worked in some rough black areas, and saw what happened to white people who accidently got lost in those areas. Just as is stereotypical of a Hollywood depiction of a black person wandering into a white southern redneck town, whites in bad black areas of town are looked upon with suspicion and as potential targets.
Even when I have volunteered to help build homes for Habitat for Humanity in broad daylight, I knew I was not as safe as I would be just about anywhere else.
So lets turn this around and ask you what you think white people could/should be doing to help with the ills of black culture gone array?
I searched Yahoo News, CNN and USA Today to see if there was any mention of this incident. I found nothing but you bet had it been a black shot by two whites this would be plastered all over the news. Why does the media love to bend over to appease blacks and cover up the problems going on with black culture. The media tries its best to make it seem everyone is against blacks when in fact blacks are their own worst enemies.
Yet those media outlets were all over the black guy who hung himself, the media implying it was a racist murder, when in fact it turned out to be suicide. By the way, the suicide report had a much smaller footprint in the media than the loud blasting "black man found hanged".
The white supremacist aire of this thread because of a few bad kids is wrong. None of us was there & knows exactly what happened. Michael Brown needed his butt kicked NOT shot by a scared kid w/ a badge.
Ya know, when I first heard about that case, I did ask my husband..."Where was the cop's taser?"
I do think Michael Brown was aggressive toward that cop, though, and I do believe the cop feared for his life. Is someone still considered unarmed when they're that big, that aggressive and have their hand on the cop's gun? This topic has been discussed to no end, though, and people aren't going to agree on it.
We weren't there. If you were afraid for your life and had a gun, would you pull it? Wouldn't you have a "Me or him?" mindset?

What's wrong with the title of the thread? Is it "racist" to say that a black person committed a crime against a white person, but reveled to say that a white person committed a crime against a black person?

I used to live in one of those neighborhoods, I grew up in it, I grew up hearing gunshots daily, playing outside when a driveby occurred and shot up people on the street and riddled my parents' car in bullets, I have seen two people bleed to death from gun wounds on the street because the ambulance took 30+ minutes to arrive, but I also volunteered in my community, and so did my parents and many of our family members. It is the community leaders that try to take these kids off of the street and show them a better life, it is the teachers and principals that put themselves in harms way so that the kids who want to get an education can. My husband and I are both products of that environment and today we both have advanced degrees and good jobs, but more importantly we still give back. We volunteer with these youth, we assist their community churches with leading discussions on education, trade schools, and college; I personally teach classes on things like Microsoft Office to the single mothers and unemployed men in these neighborhoods to make them more marketable so they can get a job (and many do).
So again I ask, what are YOU doing? And if you think this is a "black" problem, you are more wrong than you can ever realize.
I've lived in primarily black neighborhoods twice in my life. Once, when I first moved out on my own. Once, when my husband and I were going through a rather financially unstable part of our lives/relationship. There are a lot of great people in the "hood." There are a lot of good people who have been given the hard knocks in life, some who are trying really hard and some who have settled into being poor and are making the most of it. There are also a lot of people who don't want to work, want to mooch off of the government as much as possible, think the world owes them something and who would and do steal from their own grandma if they think they can get high.
And no, this is not a black problem. Meth heads seem to be mostly white, for example. The difference, as someone else pointed out earlier in this thread, is that white people don't make excuses for our scum.

There are racists everywhere. I don't think that most people are racist, though. Most people who don't want to live in a minority neighborhood with a high crime rate probably don't want to live in a white trash trailer park, either.
And I, too, would love an explanation about why this thread title is racist.
The problem is that the poor blacks have few viable recreational activities. Sex, which is cost-free to an impecunious male, becomes the default recreational option.
And females have little to say in the matter.

Talk about a low-life attempt a humor. If this was a black man killed by 2 white teens, CNN would be all over it, Sharpton would be in tow, and you would probably be the first person on here ready to launch the firing squad.
