Many of the comments here are focused on the threat (or according to some, lack of such) of a nuclear weapon in the hands of a radical Islamic regime towards Israel.
The Obama policy is not just endangering Israel. The Iranian regime already has ballistic missiles designed to be fitted with a nuclear warhead. The range of these missiles currently covers all of the Middle East as well as southern, eastern, and central Europe. At the current rate of development, the regime will have an ICBM in the not too distant future.
So a bomb in the hands of a jihadi, theocratic, apocalyptic regime is a lethal threat to populations well beyond Israel, including the US.

You list how far it could reach and then announce that it could reach the USA although that is in direct opposition to the rest of what you are saying. It could matter not one bit if Iran had The Bomb. Israel has had "The Bomb" for years. It is just an excuse to send billions of dollars to Israel. People talk about the social security system running out of money in a few years. If we didn't send these billions to Israel we could take better care of us.

That's right, stick your head in the sand and keep repeating the above over and over again.

Ok. I will. Believe me.

You know where Iran is. Go over there and stop them.

Just leave the rest of us out of this.

The fear factor in conservatives is always high, they feel threatened by anyone and everyone not their color, their religion, and Republican, so it wouldn't really matter if we nuked Iran and left them smoldering and glowing, they would still be afraid of another country with a bomb, probably Pakistan, and if these nut cases have their way and push this country, and the world, towards their desired ending of a Rapture (complete with trumpets, cloud walkers and God knows what else) then they will realize their self fulfilling prophecy by plunging the world towards a nuclear exchange, be it with another government or rogue actors who commandeer a nuclear weapon and are seeking revenge.

The greatest threat to this country is whacked out conservatives in charge of our military (think Bush/Cheney)

And your kitchen and bathroom cabinets are designed to hold precursors for chemical weapons.

Fitting...

Sigh. a nuclear weapon carried by a bomber is a FAR FAR cry from one carried by a icbm. Additionally we do have some limited (but rapidly growing) capability to shoot down such a weapon.

And finally....why would Iran be insane enough to do so? I mean yeah its all fun and games to threaten folks, its another thing to actually do something that turns every major city in your country into a crater.

So try and comprehend that theres a massive difference between having a nuke, and being able to actually deliver said nuke. Dont discuss icbm's because that shows just how uneducated you are. Discuss ship delivery and detonation in a harbor, thats FAR more likely.

As a FYI-Iran could probably get similar results via a natural gas freighter intentionally setup to explode in a major harbor.
