I agree with urbanlife. I think the ax-grinding is ridiculous. It's a darn TV show, for goodness sake! The outrage it's inspired defies rational explanation.
The only issue I see, is Affleck is liked by many, him omitting his family history goes over with those like urbanlife.
I bet if Ted Nugent did this, people would be out in full force demanding his guns......
But you are not Affleck, so it really doesn't matter what you think is an interesting part of his ancestry. I think the mafia past of my ancestry is an interesting thing as well, but my interest in the topic wasn't going to make my grandmother ever want to talk about it when she was alive.
