It will be deemed a "phoney scandal" (see post #4).. it will be dragged out and I doubt anything will come of it. It wouldnt matter anyway, lefties will vote for this woman even if you caught her in hell dealing with the devil. I somewhat agree that liberalism is a mental disorder. They dont hold their own responsible.
I, too, am skeptical. But, the saving grace may be that the requests came from two Inspector's General. The IG's are, by statute, non-partisan and have wide open access to people and evidence. Most IG's are highly regarded because the weight of their findings can compel Congress to act. Remember the GSA debacle where millions in taxpayer dollars were used to pay for lavish employee junkets to Las Vegas and beyond? Because of the IG report, Congress cut travel budgets all across the government. There can be consequences. For the DOJ to refuse to investigate based on the IG's request would be a very blatant, very transparent attempt by this Administration to engage in a cover-up. Is Barack Obama willing to go that far to save Hillary? Only time will tell.
She is a coward with so much to hide. Trump inflamed many people with his comments on hispanics. What does he do? Go to the border and have an open press conference, with stations like Univision / telemundo, etc.
Can you imagine Hillary taking an open press conference? Trump answered more questions over lunch at the border than Hillary has during her entire campaign. She won't even answer to congressional hearings; how do you think she feels about the public's right to know anything?
Yet another weak attempt by the right to bring down their most formidable opponent. Move along, folks, nothing new to see here. But not to worry, there will be another attempt soon, and another. Creating "scandals" against Clinton and then spending years "investigating" them has become SOP for the GOP these days.
Good thing they have nothing more pressing to expend a little bit of energy on.

Does your back hurt from all that water you carry?

What are you yapping about? Since when is an internal, non-partisan government watchdog part of any "attempt" to "bring down" Hillary Clinton?
Dont expect much from it though. They will continue to stall and stall and stall just like they always do when it comes to protecting their own.
Yeah, that was my first thought too. Plus the Clintons are famous for airing their scandals early and often in an election cycle to "innoculate" themselves from later attacks.
I get the sense this goes deeper. Smart Democrats know they're in deep trouble this election cycle. They have an unlikable candidate but they don't dare ask her to step aside for fear of losing their women voters, many of whom could care less about her issues, they just want to vote for a woman once in their lifetimes.
This has the feel of an end-around play by Democrats. Get her indicted and booted off the ticket and claim they have clean hands.
