You're too funny.

I'm trying to picture Chesea Manning being "tortured" by our government.

Instead, "he" was or will be given a sex-change operation at our expense.

Just look at Manning and Snowden.

Heroes?

You've got to be kidding!

Weasley little creeps is what they are, always have been, and always will be.

To hear the liberals -- and, I'm sorry to say, some conservatives -- talk, you would think that there was no such thing as war, espionage, treason, fifth columnists or international terrorism.

Yes, the government can and often does abuse its powers.

I suggest that the people who dislike that not elect politicians like Obama who are obvious liars.

Start there.

If that's what you think, you are naive.
Every time I ask that, I get a resounding yes because individual liberties are more important than the collective liberties of individuals.

They were communicating with terrorists overseas. Tamerlan was traveling back and forth to known terrorist enclaves. The Russians even warned us. Tamerlan was a subject in another murder and THEY MISSED IT.

Why? They were gathering the emails and phone call of teenage girls.

Chickensh** coward.
Only an idiot would stay here and let the CIA silence him in some remote prison cell and then take him out. That would be very stupid. Snowden is not stupid. He needed lots of time to discuss the vast amount of illegal government spying and related information with the journalists.

Obviously, you haven't seen the movie or even read interviews with Snowden so your opinion is chickensh1t.

That's exactly what the NSA says because if he had not left the USA they would have stopped him before he could expose their illegal activities.

Because Obama will not let the justice dept do it's job.

Violations of the 4th amendment are unacceptable for any reason.

So where is Obama's Justice Department?

They're the ones who are in a position to prosecute.
Letting them get away with it, and not caring.

My opinion is if they do not prosecute the people in the NSA (As mentioned in my previous post) who also broke the law, as revealed by Edward Snowden, then why should Snowden be punished at all.

He should be considered a whistle-blower in my opinion, much like Daniel Ellsberg.
